Reclaim Your Divine Feminity Retreat
hosted by Mother Yin

April 2022

So often women take time to take care of everyone else and find that they don’t have any time to practice self-care left in their day. In that process, we’ve lost the connection to our divine wonder, power, and magic. Sara’s retreat was all about slowing down, healing, and reclaiming divine femininity step by step. Participants took the first step: resting and releasing over the course of three days.

Mother Yin’s mission is to combine holistic healing techniques (like yin yoga, Chinese medicine, womb healing, and ayurvedic nutrition) with scientifically backed evidence to heal from the inside out.

The retreat consisted of daily mindfulness classes, yin yoga classes, qi gong classes, and journaling sessions designed to help find balance. Each night the group held ceremonies, including a fire ceremony under the stars to release and a cacao ceremony to open the heart.

Meals were organic and prepared by a wonderful private chef, Sofia Naasuk, on site. Each meal was designed to help bring body and mind back into balance based on hormone-balancing seasonal ingredients.

The group gave their nervous systems time, space, breath, and rest. They allowed their bodies to rediscover a natural rhythm. The retreat participants held space for each other and had FUN.
